6/1/05: Jack Paluh introduces the first piece in his Heritage Series.  SPIRIT OF THE HUNT unites, in spirit, the hunters of the past with today's modern day turkey hunters.  Each image reveals our bond with those preceding us.  These hunters have passed on their rich legacy of turkey hunting from one generation to the next.  If you've enjoyed Jack's Eastern Indian Series, the Heritage Series is a must for your collection.

5/05: On May 20th, 2005, Parker's Gallery hosted two phenomenal female artists Bev Gipson O' Reilly, and Tory Casey during the Edinboro Arts and Music Festival.

Bev Gibson O' Reilly is a three dimensional artist who is inspired to use varied natural materials.  Her spontaneous use of colored pencils, pastels in formal graphic designs contrast with flowing natural materials she uses such as sticks cattail reeds, feathers, wood and colored thread.  Her wood shadow box frames are created by her husband Rob O' Reilly.

Tory Casey is a self taught contempory artist.  She creates incredible narratives through her work.  She loves color, light, and repetition of pattern and the natural order of things.  With strong colors and deceptively simple images, she creates an intense and specific accounting of the world she knows.  The people.  The culture.  The environment.  Using translucence of acrylic paints, layers of color and lots of small brush work she paints from a birds eye view.
